out and give effect to certain approved plans, and for other purposes . Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the United States Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission, established for the celebrat ion of t he one-h undred-a nd-fifti eth anni versary of the formation of the Constitution of the United States by the joint res- olution entitled "Joint resolution providing for the preparation and completion of plans for a comprehensive observance of the one- hund red-and- fiftieth anniver sary of the form ation of the Con stitu- tion of the United States", ap roved August 23, 1935 (hereinafter referred to as the Commission, is authorized and directed to pre- pare and publish certain historical and educational material, as specified in the approved plans of the Commission, for distribution to libraries, schools, and organized study groups, as well as to Con- stitution State and local commissions, and individuals. SEc. 2. (a) The Commission *is authorized and directed to (1) prepare and provide for the general distribution of photolitho- graphic copies of a painting of the "Signing of the Constitution" accepted by the Commission ; and (2) prep are repr oduction s of ap- proved portraits of the signers and the history of the Constitution, and of its time, together with their facsimile signatures and appro- priate biographical sketches, for distribution to libraries, schools, org ani zed stu dy gro ups, Co nst itut ion St ate and lo cal com mis sion s, and other proper sources . (b) To carry out the provisions of this section, the Commission is authorized to have printing, binding, photolithography, and other work done at establishments other than the Government Printing Office, as provided for in section 12 of the Printing Act, approved January 12, 1895 (U . S. C ., title 44, sec . 14), as amended by the Act of July 8, 1935 (49 Stat . 475)

June 1, 19 33 6 [CHAPTER 472 .] J OINT RE SOLU TIO N Authorizing the erection in the Department of Labor Building of a memorial to the officers of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and Immigration Border Patrol who, while on active duty, lost their lives under heroic or tragic circ umsta nces . Resolved by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Director of the National Park Service be, and is hereby, authorized to grant permission for the erection of a memorial to the officers of the Immi- gration and Naturalization Service and Immigration Border Patrol who, while on active duty lost their lives under heroic or tragic circum stances . The design of the memorial shall be approved and the site in the Department of Labor Building shall be chosen by the Commission of Fine Arts, and the United States shall be put to no expense in or by the erection of the said memorial .
