To amend section 2 of the Act entitled "An Act to supplement existing laws [Public, No.692 .1

against unlawful restraints and monopolies, and for other purposes", approved October 15, 1914, as amended (U. S . C ., title 15, see. 13), and for other purposes . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the Antitrust Act of 1914, United States o f America in Congress assembled, That section 2 of amendment . Vol.38,p.;3o.

(a) Th at it shall be unlawful for a ny person engag ed in pric e between differ ent purchasers . commerce , in the course of such comme rce, either dir ectly or indi- rectly, to discriminate in price between different purchasers of com- modities of like grade and quality, where either or any of the purchases involved in such discrimination are in commerce, where such commodities are sold for use, consumption, or resale within the United S tates or any Te rritory thereo f or the Distri ct of Columbia or a ny ins ular p ossess ion or other place under the ju risdict ion of the Lessening, etc ., com- Uni ted Stat es, and wher e th e ef fect of such dis crim inat ion may be petition . substantially to lessen competition or tend to create a monopoly in any line of commerce, or to injure, destroy, or prevent competition with any person who either grants or knowingly receives the benefit Provisos .
