Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the six th worlds Poul- United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of try Congress. Participation ex- $25,000, or such sum thereof as may be necessary, may be expended s enses . by the Secretary of Agriculture from the unexpended funds of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration, with a view to expanding the foreign demand for American-bred poultry through participation in the 1936 Si xth Wor ld's Pou ltry Co ngress, such fu nds to b e used for staging a live-bird and educational exhibit and for the expenses of delegates of the United States to this conference : Provided, That of thi s sum a sum of $10,000 is here by made immedia tely ava ilable for as sembling, prepa ring, an d shipp ing the live-bi rd exhib it and material showing poultry-husbandry methods followed in the United States : Provided further, That no part of the sum authorized to be expended by this resolution shall be used for the payment of expenses of delegates to such conference other than Government and State Agricultural college officials . SEc. 2 . The President is hereby authorized and requested to extend to the World's Poultry Science Association an invitation to hold the Seventh World's Poultry Congress in the United States in 1939, and to extend an invitation to foreign governments to participate in and be represented by delegates and exhibits in such congress .
