Expenses, etc. Administrative expenses, compensation to injured employees in the Dis tri ct of Col umb ia : For t he enfo rcement of the Act ent itled "A n Act t o provid e compe nsation for dis ability or deat h result ing from injury to employees in certain employments in the District of Columbia, and for other purposes", approved May 17, 1928 (45 Stat., p . 600), $53,300, for transfer to and expenditure by the Employees' Compensation Commission under its appropriations "Salaries and expenses", $53,000, and "Printing and binding", $300 . For financing of the liability of the government of the District of Columbia, created by the Act entitled "An Act for the retirement of employees in the classified civil service, and for other purposes", approved May 22, 1920, and Acts amendatory thereof (U . S . C ., titl e 5, sec . 707a), $150,000, which amount sh all be placed to the credi t of the "civil service retirement and disability fund." Di stri ct of Col umbi a Une mplo ymen t Com pens ation Act : For the contribution of the District of Columbia under the provisions of section 5 (a) of the District of Columbia Unemployment Compensa- tion Act, approved August 28, 1935 (49 Stat ., p . 946), $125,000 . DEPARTMENT OF VEHICLES AND TRAFFIO For personal services, $74,640. For purchase, installation, and modification of electric traffic lights, signals and controls, markers, painting white lines, labor, maintenance of non-passenger-carrying motor vehicles and such other expens es as m ay be ne cessary in the judgmen t of the Commis sioners , $63,000, of which not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the purc hase , ins tall ation , an d mod ific ation of elect ric traff ic-l ight sig- 1ofs available for nals : Provided, That no part of this or any other appropriation street-car loading plat- contained in this Act shall be expended for building, installing, and forms•
