VII, title 7, sees . 386d-386f), and Acts amendatory or supplementary thereto, relative to their admin- istration and for the administration of agricultural experiment sta- tions in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, including the employment of clerks, assistants, and other persons in the city of Washington and elsewhere, freight and express charges, official traveling ex penses , office fixtur es, su pplies , appar atus, telegr aph an d telep hone s ervice , gas, electric current, and rent outside the District of Co lumbia, $156,235 ; and the Secretary of Agriculture shall prescribe the form of the annual financial statement required under the above Act s, ascertain whether the expenditures are in accordance with their provisions, coordinate the work of the Department of Agriculture with that of the State agricultural colleges and experiment stations in the lines authorized in said Acts, and make report thereon to Congress . Insular experiment stations : To enable the Secretary of Agricul- ture to establish and maintain agricultural experiment stations in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, including the erection of buildings, the preparation, illustration, and distribution of reports and bulletins, and all other n ecessary expens es, $69,311, as follows : $ 32, 066 f or Hawaii, and $37,245 for Puerto Rico : Provided, That the Secretary of Agriculture may, at his discretion, transfer such equipment, including the l ibrary, of the Hawaii Experime nt Station, as he may deem necessary and advisable t o the experimen t station of t he Uni- versity of Hawa ii, conducted j ointly and in c ollaboration w ith the Federal station under the Act of May 16, 1928 (U . S . C ., Supp . VII, title 7, sees . 386-386b) ; and the Secretary of Agriculture is author- ized to sell such products as are obtained on the land belonging to the agricultural experiment stations in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and the amount obtained from the sale thereof shall be covered into the Treasury of the United States as miscellaneous receipts .
