" SEC . 2 . If tolls are charged for the use of said bridges, or any Vol. 4s, p. 838. of them, the rates of toll may be so adjusted as to provide fnd suffi- cient to pay such part or all of any one or more of the following items as shall not be from time to time otherwise provided for, etc ost of mainten ance, namely : (a) The reasonable cost of maintenance, repair, and opera- tion of said bridges, approaches, and such other public works and i mprovem ents as may be associat ed with said br idges a nd appro aches or any of them in any loan agreement heretofore entered into, or hereafter to be entered into between the United States of America and said Allegheny County Authority or said county of Allegheny ; Amortization of and (b) the amortization, within a reasonable time and under rea- loans, etc . sonable conditions of any loan or loans, including reasonable inter- est, taxes, and financing charges, made or to be made in connection w ith the constru ction o f said b ridges, approac hes . a nd oth er such associated public works and improvements ." SEC . 3 . Section 3 of said Act is amended to read as follows Re cord of expen di- " SEC. 3. An accurate record of the cost of said bridges, approaches, t Vola48 pcs3sts . and associated public works and improvements and of all expendi- tures for maintaining, repairing, and operating the same and of tolls collected from time to time shall be kept and shall at all reasonable times be available for the information of all persons interested in the construction, operation, and maintenance thereof ." SEC. 4. Said Act is further amended by adding a new section, to be known as "section 4 ", reading as follows Time for bridging " SeC . 4 . The times for commencing and completing said bridges extended . an d each of them and the approaches of each o f them is hereby extended for periods of one and three years, respectively, from June 4, 1935 ." Sections renumbered. SeC. 5 . Said Act is further amended by renumbering section 4 thereof as section 5 and section 5 thereof as section 6 . Amendment .
