By THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION S~pplementary !lX- WHEREAS a Supplementary Extradition Treaty between the trndltlOn treaty WIth , Switzerland. United States of America and the Swiss Federal Council was concluded Preamble. and signed by their respective Plenipotentiaries at Washington on the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, the original of which Supplementary Treaty, being in the English and French languages, is word for word as follows: Contractill~ Powm. The President of the United States of America and the Swiss Federal Council, animated by the desire of assuring a better admin- istration of justice and suppressing crime on their territory and under their jurisdiction, have resolved to conclude an additional treaty en- larging the list of the crimes or offenses which are extraditable Vol. :U, p. 1929. under the treaty concluded, ~Iay 14, 1900,' between the United States of America and Switzerland and have named as their Pleni- potentiaries: Plenipotentiaries.
