WHEREAS by virtue of the authority contained in title I of the N~t1onal Longshore- National Industrial Recovery Act (48 Stat. 195; U. S. C ., title 15, mTarmstroBot (talk) 17:59, 19 November 2014 (UTC)':::~Board. sec. 701) and the ]'oint resolution of June 19 1934 (48 Stat. 1183) UVoIS·48 ,PP.19l1,ll83. , " . . c., JI• .'I82. and in order to effectuate the purposes of said act and joint resolu- tion, the President, by Executive Order No. 6748, of June 26, 1934, created in connection with the Department of Labor the National Longshoremen's Labor Board; WHEREAS said Board was authorized in connection with the longshoremen's strike on the Pacific coast and labor problems relating thereto to perform certain duties enumerated in section 3 of said Ex- ecutive order; 'VHEREAS section 4 of said Executive order provides that said Board shall cease to exist when in the opinion of the President it has completed the duties it is authorized to perform; and 'VUEREAS I find that the said Board has completed the duties it was authorized to perform: NO'V, THEREFORE, I, FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, Presi- Terminational. dent of the United States of America, do proclaim that the aforesaid National Longshoremen's Labor Board has completed the duties it was authorized to perform and has ceased to exist.
