It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any sum of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Odom and Lilla Odom, of Eatonton, Georgia, jointly, the sum of $805 in full satisfaction of their claim against the United States for the value of one hundred and sixty-one acres of land at $5 per acre, located in Putnam County, Georgia, which they con- veyed by deed to the Government, represented by the Resettlement Administration, then the Federal Emergency Relief Administration, said deed describing the land as six hundred and thirty acres, more or less, on the basis of which they were paid, but upon survey by the General Land Office the tract was found to contain seven hundred
