CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS THIRD SESSION, SEVENTY-FIFTH CONGRESS JOINT MEETING Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the two Houses of Congress assemble in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Monday, the 3d day of January 1938, at 1:30 o'clock postmeridian, for the purpose of receiving such communica- tions as the President of the United States shall be pleased to make to them. Passed, January 3, 1938. AGRICULTURAL ADJUSTMENT ACT OF 1938 Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That in the enrollment of the bill (H. R. 8505) to provide for the conservation of national soil resources and to provide an adequate and balanced flow of agricultural commodities in interstate and foreign commerce, the Clerk of the House is authorized and directed in the second paragraph of subsection (d) added to the Soil Con- servation and Domestic Allotment Act by section 101 of the bill to insert the word "permanently" after the word "be" in the paren- thetical expression so that such parenthetical expression will read as follows: "(except for lands which the Secretary determines should not be utilized for the harvesting of crops but should be permanently used for grazing purposes only)". Passed, February 14, 1938. "RE VISION OF THE REVENUE LAWS, 1988" Resolved by the Iouse of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That, in accordance with paragraph 3 of section 2 of the Printing Act approved March 1, 1907, the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives be, and is hereby, authorized and em- powered to have printed for its use two thousand additional copies of the hearings held before said committee during the current session on the bill for the "Revision of the Revenue Laws, 1938".
