CORPS OF ENGINEERS Engineer Service, Army, $3,931,500; and, in addition, the Chief of Engineers, when authorized by the Secretary of War, may enter into contracts prior to July 1, 1941, to an amount not in excess of $3,000,000, for the procurement of Engineer equipment. ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT Ordnance service and supplies, Army, $103,829,565; and, in addi- tion, the Chief of Ordnance, when authorized by the Secretary of War, may enter into contracts prior to July 1, 1941, to an amount not in excess of $90,085,520, for the procurement or production of ordnance mat6riel, machinery, and supplies.
