July 6, 14 , 1942 July 6, 14 , 1942 56 STAT.] SERVICEMEN'S DEPENDENTS ALLOWANCE ACT OF 1942 Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed, in enroll- ing the bill (S. 2467) to provide family allowances for the dependents of enlisted men of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard of the United States, and for other purposes, to make the following necessary change in the language of the bill: In section 107, strike out the words "the first day of the first calendar month following the date of enactment of this Act" and in lieu thereof insert "June 1, 1942".
