56 STAT.] URUGUAY--RECIPROCAL TRADE-JULY 21, 1942 dando entendido que si el Uruguay extendiera tal preferencia a cualquier tercer pais, ella se extenderia inmediata e incondicional- mente a los Estados Unidos; "(2) El Gobierno de los Estados Unidos de America no invocari las disposiciones de los Articulos III y IV del Convenio Comercial con el fin de obtener el beneficio de cualesquiera preferencias de cambio o de cuotas que otorgue el Uruguay a paises limitrofes, Bolivia, o Paraguay, sobreentendi6ndose que tales preferencias cesaran cuando hubiere terminado la actual lucha mundial, salvo que los Gobiernos del Uruguay y de los Estados Unidos de America convengan otra cosa, previa recomendaci6n de la Comisi6n Mixta prevista en el paragrafo segundo del Articulo XII del Convenio Comercial.
