EXCELLENCY: Cooperative pro- gratiof health anod I have the honor to refer to the notes exchanged between the sanitation. Minister for Finance of Brazil and the Acting Secretary of State of Ante, p. 1322. the United States of America, dated March 14, 1942, and to our conversations relative to the cooperative program of health and sani- tation in the United States of Brazil provided for by Resolution XXX approved at the Third Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the American Republics held in Rio de Janeiro in January 1942. In accordance with the notes under reference, the United States of America has contributed the sum of US$5,000,000 for the cooperative health and sanitation program which is now being carried out in Brazil. buAition al. cntror If desired by the Government of Brazil, the Government of the expansion of program.
