AN ACT To amend the Act entitled "An Act to expedite the provisions of housing in connection with national defense, and for other purposes", approved October 14, 1940, as amended. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Act entitled "An Act to expedite the provision of housing in connection with the national defense, and for other purposes", approved October 14, 1940, as amended (U. S . C., 1940 edition, Supp. III, title 42, secs. 1521 et seq.), is hereby amended by adding, after section 404, the following new title: "TITLE V "HOUSING FOR DISTRESSED FAMILIES OF SERVICEMEN AND VETERANS WITH FAMILIES Powers of Adminis- "SEC. 501.
