Ian. 25, 1828. Cin?. HI.—An Act for the relief of Simeon Broadmeadow. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represenlatives of the Secretary or United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary S¤¤¤¤¤<>i¤s¤¤ of State be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to issue letters g’,::;;;’°,g‘:,',;;:,? patent, in the usual form, to Simeon Broadmeadow, for his improved meadow, method of exhausting, condensing or propelling air, smoke, gas, or other acriform products; also, letters patent for his pneumatic engine; and letters patent for l1is improvement in the steam engine; on his paying into the treasury the usual fees, and making oath that he is the true inventor and discoverer of the said inventions and improvements, and delivering into the Patent Office models of the same, with specifications, as is required by the acts of Congress relative to the issuing of letters patent for inventions and improvements; and that the same have not, nor hath either of them, to the best of his knowledge or belief; been Pmviw, used or known, either in this or any foreign country: Provided, That the said letters patent shall be subject to all the conditions, limitations, and restrictions of the said acts of Congress.
