Columbia. *_‘*""—"""‘ Be it enacted, &c,, That the Treasurer of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to deliver up to the trustees of Obligations, the Columbian College, all the obligations, notes, or other evidences of 6*9-· °* °*h¤¤' debt which have heretofore been given by the trustees, or by any trea- §;g°'f,°x$°_ surer, or agent of the trustees of the said college when, and so soon as liverbd. to the the trustees of the said college shall deliver up, re·assign, transfer or "¤¤*¤¢¤· convey to the United States, the obligations, notes, claims, or property, in consideration of which, the trustees of the said college became indebted to the United States, and also all property heretofore pledged to the United States in security of the said debts, so due from the trustees of the said college to the United States. Sec. 2. And be it for-ther enaered, That the trustees of the said Tmsmsto be college shall be discharged and released from the said claims of the dischapged and United States, immediately upon complying with the requisitions of the f¤l¤¤¤ · lirst section of this act.
