CIVIL FUNCTIONS--SIGNAL CORPS Alaska Communication System: For an additional amount, fiscal year 1947, for "Alaska Communication System", including the objects specified under this head in the War Department Civil Appropriation Act, 1947, $200,000, to remain available until the close of the fiscal year 1948. TITLE II-JUDGMENTS AND AUTHORIZED CLAIMS PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS SEC. 201. For the payment of claims for damages to or losses of privately owned property adjusted and determined by the following respective departments and independent offices, under the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to provide a method for the settlement of claims arising against the Government of the United States in the sum not exceeding $1,000 in any one case", approved December 28, 1922 (31 U. S . C . 215), as fully set forth in House Document Num- bered 725, Seventy-ninth Congress, as follows: Federal Works Agency, $136.15; Department of Commerce, $71.86; Department of the Interior, $905.26; Treasury Department, $312.30; In all, $1,425.57. JUDGMENTS, UNITED STATES COUBTB SEC. 202. For the payment of final judgment, which has been rendered under the provisions of the Act of March 3, 1887, entitled "An Act to provide for the bringing of suits against the Government of the United States", as amended by section 297 of the Act of March 3, 1911 (28 U. S . C . 761), and which has been certified to the Seventy- ninth Congress in House Document Numbered 719, under the follow- ing agency: War Department, $218.92, together with such additional sum as may be necessary to pay interest as and where specified in the judgment, and such judgment shall not be paid until the right of appeal has expired. JUDGMENTS, UNITED STATES OOURT OF CLAIMS SEC. 203. (a) For payment of judgments rendered by the Court of Claims and reported to the Seventy-ninth Congress in House Docu- ment Numbered 726, under the following agencies, namely: Federal Works Agency, $49,000; National Housing Agency: Federal Public Housing Authority, $8,829.05; Treasury Department, $12,909.42; In all, $70,738.47, together with such additional amount as may be necessary to pay interest as and where specified in the judgments; (b) None of the judgments contained under this caption shall be paid until the right of appeal shall have expired except such as have become final and conclusive against the United States by failure of the parties to appeal or otherwise.
