Any such officer, and any other officer of the Reserve Corps retired for a disability which was incurred in line of duty after December 6,1941, and prior to July 1, 1944, shall be entitled, for periods both before and after the date of the enactment of this section, to the same retired pay to which he would have been entitled if such section 211, as amended simultaneously with the enact- ment of this section, had been in effect on and after December 7, 1941."
