62 STAT.] KOREA-ECONOMIC COOPERATION-DEC. 10 , 1948 on November 14, 1947, and will fur- ther strengthen the ties of friend- ship between the American and Korean peoples: The undersigned, beirg duly authorized by their respective Governments for that purpose, have agreed as follows: ARTICIE I The Government of .the United States of America will furnish the Government of the Republic of Korea such assistance as the President of the United States of America may au- thorize to be provided in accordance with the Act of Congress approved June 28, 1948, (Public Law 793, 80th Congress), and any Acts amenda- tory or supplementary thereto. ARTICLE HI The Government of the Republic cf Korea, in addition to making the rost advantageous use of all avail- able Korean resources, will make similarly effective use of the aid furnished to the Government of the Fepublic of Korea by the Government of the United States of America.
