CHAPTER 493 AN ACT For the relief of Tibor Horanyi.

July 14, 1954 [H. R. 2404]

STAT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, ThaL for the purposes of the Immigration and naturalization laws, Tibor Horanyi shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon the payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. CHAPTER 494 AN ACT For the relief of Annie Litke.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Annie Litke. United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Annie Litke shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Quota deduction. That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Doctor James K-Thong Yu shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this x4.ct, upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quotacontrol officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
