CHAPTER 548 AN ACT For the relief of Hildegard H. Nelson.

July 19, 1954 [H.R. 733]

Be it enacted by the Senate and Iloune of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Hildegard H, Nelson shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. Private Law 550 AN ACT For the relief of Mihai Haiiclralmra.

July 19, 1954 [H.R. 734]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Mihai Handrabura shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. AN ACT Authorizing the United States Government to reeonvey certain lands to S. J. Carver. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the xArmy is authorized to reeonvey to S. J. Carver so much of tract C-282 Lavon Dam and Reservoir project, Texas, lying above contour elevation 496, being approximately seventeen acres, more or less, for a sum equal to its fair market value.
