CHAPTER 1195

AN ACT For the relief of Klyce Motors, Incoriwrated.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $54,996.41, to Klyce Motors, Incorporated, of Memphis, Tennessee, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for losses sustained under the War Assets Administration sales document numbered 262845 in connection with the purchase of one hundred and nine trucks, dated May 25, 1946: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved August 31, 1954. CHAPTER 1196 AN ACT For the relief of Kenneth McRight.

August 31, 1954 [H. R. 1461]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Kenneth McRight, Henryetta, Oklahoma, the sum of $10,000. The payment of such sum shall be in full settlement of all claims of the said Kenneth McRight against the United States arising out of the permanent injuries sustained by him in Dallas, Texas, on April 13, 1950, when he was shot by an insane member of the United States Army: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved August 31, 1954. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to t e o F. Pinder, regular letter carrier in the United States post office at Akron, Ohio, the sum of $150, and to be relieved of all liability to refund the sum of $457.55. Such sums represent the amount which the said Leo F. Pinder was
