CHAPTER 243 AN ACT

June 29. 1955 [H.R. 3958]

For the relief of Louis E l term a n.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Louis Elterman. jj^ited States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Louis Elterman, of Boston, Massachusetts, the sum of $179.17, in full satisfaction of all claims against the United States for reimbursement of expenses incident to the transfer and storage of his personal effects, from Eatontown, New Jersey, to Boston (West Roxbury), Massachusetts: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved June 29, 1955.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the pur8^js*c*i io"note. poses of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Szjena Peison and David Peison shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fees.
