October 31st, 1832. } By an understanding had between the undersigned Commissioners on Annuities, the part of the United States, and certain Chiefs of the Delaware Nation hereinafter named, and which was agreed to alter the signing of the Treaty with said Tribe, it was stipulated by the said Chiefs and agreed to by the Commissioners, that an annuity for life to Meshe Kowhay, or Patterson, first Chief of the Delawares, Tah-whee-lalen, or Ketchum, Captain of a band; and N atcomiug, also Captain of a band, should be paid to each of them by the United States, of one hundred dollars. The Chiefs and Warriors aforesaid cede to the United C,,,,;,,,, ,,;;,,,,4 States, their title and interest to lands in the States of Indiana and Illi· to U. S. nois, and in the Territory of Michigan, south of Grand river. Anrrcnn II. From the cession aforesaid, the following reservations R,m,.,,,,,°n,,_ are made, (to wit? The reservation at Po·ca-gan’s village for his band, and a reservation or such of the Potowatomies as are resident at the A,,w’P_m5_ village of Notta-we·sipa, agreeably to the treaties of the nineteenth of Ante, p. 317.
