SEC. 2305. References in other laws to any provision of law repealed by this Act shall be deemed to refer to the corresponding provisions of this Act. C O N T I N U I N G AVAILABILITY OF APPROPRIATIONS
SEC. 2306. Amounts heretofore appropriated to carry out the purposes of any provision of law repealed by this Act, and available on the day before the effective date of this Act, shall be available to carry out the purposes of the corresponding provisions of this Act. SEC. 2307. All rules, regulations, orders, permits, and other privileges issued or granted by the Administrator before the effective date of this Act, and in effect on such effective date (or scheduled to take effect after such effective date) shall remain in full force and effect until modified, suspended, overruled, or otherwise changed by the Administrator. CLAIMS
SEC. 2311. (a) A claim for pension or compensation which is pending in the Veterans' Administration on the effective date of this Act shall be adjudicated under the laws in effect on the day before the effective date of this Act with respect to the period before that date and, except as provided in sections 2312(b), 2313, and 2316, under this Act thereafter. If a disallowance is required under such laws but entitlement is shown under this Act, the pending claim shall be considered a claim under this Act. (b) A claim for assistance in acquiring specially adapted housing or an automobile or other conveyance which is jjending in the Veterans' Administration on the effective date of this Act shall be considered a claim for such assistance under this Act. SEC. 2312. (a) Any person who is receiving, or entitled to receive, pension under public laws administered by the Veterans' Administration on the day before the effective date of this Act at a rate equal to or less than that to which he would be entitled under the provisions of this Act shall, except where there was fraud, clear and unmistakable error as to conclusions of fact or law, or misrepresentation of material facts, be paid pension under this Act beginning with the effective date of this Act. (b) Any person who is receiving, or entitled to receive, pension on the day before the effective date of this Act under the laws in effect on that day and who is not entitled to pension under this Act, or who is entitled to pension at a higher rate under such laws than that to which he would be entitled under this Act, shall, except where there was fraud, clear and unmistakable error of fact or law, or misrepresentation of material facts, continue to be paid the rate of pension payable on the day before the effective date of this Act, so long as the conditions warranting such payment under those laws continue. I n the event there is a change in such conditions, the entitlement thereafter of such person to pension will be determined under this Act.
