Private Law 85-566 AN ACT For the relief of Johnnie P. Saylors.

August 14, 1958 [H. R. 4461]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Johnnie United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary lors. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Johnnie P. Saylors, the sum of $9,665, in full settlement of all claims against the Government of the United States for injuries sustained by her on October 26, 1953, as a result of being struck by a United States Army vehicle, near Dinglefing, Germany: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved August 14, 1958.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That jurisdiction is hereby conferred notwithstanding the lapse of time, laches, or statutes of limitation, on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, to hear, determine, and render judgment on the claims and controversies of the parties hereinafter named in groups 1 through 6, respectively, concerning the title and possession of, and for damages to the land included within the following described tracts of land, numbered 1 through 6, respectively, in corresponding numerical order; and those parties are hereby granted permission and are authorized to bring suit or suits in said courts against the United States of America for the title and possession of, and for damages to the land included within the tracts described herein: GROUP ONE
