Depot at Ankara, Turkey, shall be considered and acted upon under the remaining provisions of such Act in the same manner as if such notice and claim had been timely filed, if such claim is filed within six months after the date of the enactment of this Act. Approved March 28, 1958.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding the provision of section 212(a)(6) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Franz Hehn may be issued a visa and be admitted to the United States for permanent residence if he is found to be otherwise admissible under the provisions of that Act under such conditions and controls which the Attorney General, after consultation with the Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare may deem necessary to impose: Provided, That a suitable and proper bond or undertaking, approved by the Attorney General, be deposited as prescribed by section 213 of the said Act: Provided further, That this exemption shall apply only to a ground for exclusion of which the Department of State or the Department of Justice has knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Michael J. Boi- United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purTe Stat. 163. poses of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Michael James Bolger 8 USC 1101 note, ghall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment Quota deduction, ^f ^j^^g x^ct, upou payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
