Private Law 88-239 AN ACT For file relief of Thilii) N. Shephertlsoii.

Be if entivfed by the Senate and Home of Be preventatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Philij) N. Shepherdson the sum of $200 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for the loss of certain personal property after delivery to Embassy personnel upon his departure from Belgrade, Yugoslavia, where he was serving as assistant information officer, for home leave and transfer to P a r i s: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon <;onvi(;tion thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved June 11, 1964.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Richard G. Green, Junior, of AUentown, Pennsylvania, the sum of $299.30. Such sum represents reimbursement to the said Richard G. Green, Junior, for paying out of his own funds judgments rendered against him in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as a result of an accident occurring when Richard G. Green, Junior, was operating a Government vehicle in the course of his duties as an employee of the Post Office Department: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in c(mnection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convi(;ti()n thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved June 12, 1964.
