For construction and improvement, without regard to the Act of August 24, 1912, as amended (16 U.S.C. 451), of buildings, utilities, and other physical facilities; the repair or replacement of roads, trails, buildings, utilities, or other facilities or equipment damaged or destroyed by fire, flood, or storm, or the construction of projects deferred by reason of the use of funds for such purposes; and the acquisition of water rights; $26,177,000, to remain available until expended. For liquidation of obligations incurred pursuant to authority contained in title 2.3, United States Code, section 203, $33,000,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That none of the funds herein provided shall be expended for planning or construction on the following: Fort Washington and Greenbelt Park, Maryland, and Great Falls Park, Virginia, except minor roads and trails; and Dain^erfield Island Marina, Virginia, and extension of the George Washington Memorial Parkway from vicinity of Brickyard Road to Great Falls, Maryland, or in Prince Georges County, Maryland. EXPENSES
For expenses necessary for general administration of the National 'Park Service, including such expenses in the regional offices, $2,465,000. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS
Appropriations for the National P a r k Service shall be available for the purchase of not to exceed one hundred and three passenger motor vehicles of which ninety-four shall be for replacement only, including not to exceed sixty-one for police-type use which may exceed by $300 each the general purchase price limitation for the current fiscal year. CONSERVATION
For expenses necessary to carry out the provisions of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (78 Stat. 897), including $1,440,000 for administrative expenses of the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation during the current fiscal year, and acquisition of land or waters, or interests therein, in accordance with the statutory authority applicable to the State or Federal agency concerned, to be derived from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, established by section 2 of said Act, and to remain available until expended, not to exceed $125,000,000 of which (1) not to exceed $84,377,000 shall be available for payments to the States to be matched by the individual States with an equal amount; (2) not to exceed $21,883,000 shall be available to the National P a r k Service; and (3) not to exceed $17,300,000 shall be available to the Forest Service: Provided, That in the event the receipts available in the Land and Water Conservation Fund are insufficient to provide the full amounts specified herein, the amounts available under clauses (1) through (3) shall be reduced proportionately.
