(b) Section 216(c) of such Act, as amended by section 306 of this Act, is amended by striking out "or" at the end of clause (6)(A), and '^"^^' ^' ^'^^• by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", or (C) she was entitled to, or upon application therefor and attainment of the required age (if any) would have been entitled to, a widow's, child's (after attainment of age 18), or parent's insurance annuity under section 5 of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937, as amended". (c) Section 216(f) of such Act, as amended by section 306 of this Act, is amended by striking out "or" at the end oi clause (3)(A), and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", or (C) he was entitled to, or upon application therefor and attainment of the required age (if any) he would have been entitled to, a widower's, child's (after attainment of age 18), or parent's insurance annuity under section 5 of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937, as amended". (d) Section 216(g) of such Act, as amended by section 306 of this Act, is amended by striking out "or" at the end of clause (6)(A), and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following:, or (C) he was entitled to, or on application therefor and attainment of the required age (if any) he would have been entitled to, a widower's, child's (after attainment of age 18), or parent's insurance annuity under section 5 of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937, as amended". (e) Section 202(c)(2) is amended by striking out "or" at the end AJtl,%^^37^2.^^ of subparagraph (A), by striking out the period at the end of sub- 42 USC 402. paragraph (B) and inserting in lieu thereof "; or", and by adding after such subparagraph (B) the following new subparagraph: " (C) in the month prior to the month of his marriage to such individual he was entitled to, or on application therefor and attainment of the required age (if any) would have been entitled to, a widower's, child's (after attainment of age 18), or parent's insurance annuity under section 5 of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937, as amended." (f) Section 202(f)(2) of such Act is amended by striking out "or" at the end of subparagraph (A), by striking out the period at the end of subparagraph (B) and inserting in lieu thereof "; or", and by adding after such subparagraph (B) the following new subparagraph: " (C) in the month prior to the month of his marriage to such individual he was entitled to, or on application therefor and attainment of the required age (if any), would have been entitled to, a widower's, child's (after attainment of age 18), or parent's insurance annuity under section 5 of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937, as amended." (g) The amendments made by this section shall be applicable only with respect to monthly insurance benefits under title II of the Social Security Act beginning with the second month following the month 42 USC 401. in which this Act is enacted, but only on the basis of applications filed in or after the month in which this Act is enacted.
