Public Law 90-95 AN ACT

September28, 1967

To extend for one year the authority of the Secretary of Agriculture to make ____I^liE£ZJ indemnity payments to dairy farmers who are directed to remove their millc from commercial markets because it contains residues of chemicals registered and approved for use by the Federal Government.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary fnd^^mnftTpayof Agriculture is authorized to make indemnity payments, at a fair ments program, market value, to dairy farmers who have been directed since January 1, extension. 1964, to remove their milk from commercial markets because it contained residues of chemicals registered and approved for use by the Federal (jrovernment at the time of such use. Such indemnity payments shall continue to each dairy farmer vmtil he has been reinstated and is again allowed to dispose of his milk on commercial markets. SEC. 2. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. SEC. 3. The authority granted under this Act shall expire on June 30, 1968. For pay, allowances, individual clothing, subsistence, interest on deposits, gratuities, permanent change of station travel (including all expenses thereof for organizational movements), and expenses of temporary duty travel between permanent duty stations, for members of the Army on active duty (except members of reserve components provided for elsewhere); $7,760,300,000.
