(d) Section 301 of such Act is amended by striking out "Housing 79 st^a^. 4j4^ and Home Finance Administrator" in the third sentence of subsection note, (a) and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Urban Development". (e) Section 315 of such Act is amended— (1) by striking out "Housing and Home Finance Administrator" in subsection (a)(8) and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Urban Development"; (2) by striking out "Housing and Home Finance Administrator and Public Housing Commissioner are" in subsections (b)(1) and (b)(2) and insertm^ in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is"; and (3) by striking out "Public Housing Administration" in subsection (b)(1) and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary". (f) Section 401(5) of such Act is amended to read as folfows: '^^ ^^^ 2°^^"(5) the term 'Secretary' means the Secretary of Housing and LTrban Development." (g) Section 702(a) of such Act is amended by striking out "Hous- '^^ "^^ '•^^^^• ing and Home Finance Administrator (hereinafter in this title referred to as the 'Administrator')" and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (hereinafter in this title referred to as the 'Secretary")". (h) Section 1113 of such Act is amended by striking out "Housing ^^ use i7oid.3 and Home Finance Administrator" and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Turban Development". SEC. 23. Section 501 of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1966, is amended— ^9 Stat. sii. (1) by striking out "Administrator, Housing and Home Finance Agency" in the first sentence and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and ITrban Development"; and (2) by striking out "Administrator" in the second sentence and inserting in lieu thereof "Secretary of Housing and Urban Development". SEC. 24. (a) Sections 493, 657, and 1006 of title 18, United States Code, are amended by striking out "Federal Housing Administra- 62 Stat. 7 1 1. tion" and inserting in lieu thereof "Department of Housing and Urban Development". (b) The eighth paragraph of section 709 of such title is amended ^^ ^*^*- ^*^^to read as follows: "Whoever uses as a firm or business name the words 'Department of Housing and Urban Development', 'Housing and Home Finance Agency', 'Federal Housing Administration', 'Federal National Mortgage Association', 'United States Housing Authority', or 'Public Housing Administration' or the letters_ ' H U D ', ' F H A ', ' P H A ', or ' U S H A ', or any combination or variation of those words or the letters ' H U D ', ' F H A ', ' P H A ', or U S H A ' alone or with other words or letters reasonably calculated to convey the false impression that such name or business has some connection with, or authorization from, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing and Home Finance Agency, the Federal Housing Administration, the Federal National Mortgage Association, the United States Housing Authority, the Public Housing Administration, the Government of the United States, or any agency thereof, which does not in fact exist, or falsely claims that any repair, improvement, or alteration of any existing structure is required or recommended by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing and Home Finance Agency, the Federal Housing Administration, the Federal National Mortgage Association, the United States Housing Authority, the Public Housing Admin-
