Be it enacted by the Senate and, House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 4(a) of commercial the Commercial Fisheries Research and Development Act of 1964 (16 search^and oeU.S.C. 779b (a)), is amended by changing the words "for the next fiscal veiopment Act of year beginning after the date of enactment of this Act, and for the ^^^s sr^^l'j?*'"*' four" to "for the fiscal year beginning J u l ^ 1, 1969, and for the three". SEC. 2. Section 4(c) of the Commercial Fisheries Research and Development Act of 1964 is amended by changing the words "for the fiscal year beginning after the date of enactment of this Act," to "for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969,". SEC. 3. Section 4(b) of the Commercial Fisheries Research and Development Act of 1964 is amended by changing the words "for the next fiscal year beginning after the date of enactment of this Act, and for the succeeding fiscal year, $400,000 in each such year, and for the next three succeeding fiscal years, $650,000 in each such year," to "for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969, and for the three succeeding fiscal years, $650,000 in each such year,". SEC. 4. The provisions of this Act shall be effective July 1, 1969. Effective date. Approved October 4, 1968.
