ACCESS HIGHWAYS TO PUBLIC RECREATION AREAS ON CERTAIN LAKES (INCLUDING RESCISSION)
For necessary expenses not otherwise provided, to carry out the 23 USC 155 note, provisions of section 115(a), "Federal-Aid Highway Amendments of 1974"; $10,000,000, to remain available mitil September 30, 1978: 23 USC 101. Provided, That any authority to incur obligations granted by section 115 of the Federal-Aid Highway Amendments of 1974 is hereby rescinded. HIGHLAND SCENIC HIGHWAY (LIQUIDATION or CONTRACT AUTHORIZATION) (TRUST F U N D)
For payment of obligations incurred for construction of the Highland Scenic Highway in accordance with section 161 of Public Law 93-87 (87 Stat. 279), under authority of the provisions of title 23, United States Code, sections 203 and 207, and section 104(a)(8) of Public Law 93-87, $15,000,000, to be derived from the Highway Trust 87 Stat. 251. Fund and to remain available until expended, to be transferred to the Department of Interior for the payment of such obligations. BiKEWAY P R O G R A M
For necessary expenses to carry out the Bikeway Demonstration Program pursuant to section 119 of the Federal-Aid Highway Amendments of 1974, $6,000,000, to remain available until expended. 23 USC 217 note. NATIONAL H I G H W A Y T R A F F I C SAFETY ADMINISTRATION TRAFFIC AND HIGHWAY SAFETY
For expenses necessary to discharge the functions of the Secretary with respect to traffic and highway safety and functions under the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act (Public Law 92-513), $66,850,000, of which $28,904,000 shall be derived from the 15 USC 1901 Highway Trust Fund: Provided., That not to exceed $26,280,000 shall note, remain available until expended, of which $9,825,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund for contractual requirements of Research and Analysis activities. STATE AND COMMUNITY HIGHWAY SAFETY (LIQUIDATION OF CONTRACT AUTHORIZATION)
For payment of obligations incurred in carrying out the provisions of title 23, United States Code, sections 402 and 406, to remain available until expended, $71,000,000, of which $69,000,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund. For "State and community highway safety (liquidation of contract authorization)" for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $20,000,000, of which $19,500,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund.
