Illinois.--For the foundation and construction of a lighthouse at glgggli or near the end of the north pier at Chicago, fifteen thousand dollars, g ’ ` to be expended under the direction of the Bureau of Topographical Engineers, and the present lighthouse within the city, and the beacon light on the pier, shall be discontinued from and after the completion of the afbresaid lighthouse.
