OPERATION AND M A I N T E N A N C E, A I R NATIONAL GUARD
For operation and maintenance of the A i r National Guard, including medical and hospital treatment and related expenses in non-Federal hospitals; maintenance, operation, repair, and other necessary expenses of facilities for the t r a i n i n g and administration of the A i r National Guard, including repair of facilities, maintenance, operation, and modification of a i r c r a f t; transportation of t h i n g s; hire of passenger motor vehicles; supplies, materials, and equipment, as authorized by law for the A i r National G u a r d; and expenses incident to the maintenance and use of supplies, materials, and equipment, including such as may be furnished from stocks under the control of agencies of the Department of Defense; travel expenses (other than mileage) on the same basis as authorized by law for A i r National Guard personnel on active Federal duty, for A i r National G u a r d commanders while inspecting units in compliance with National G u a r d regulations when specifically authorized by the Chief, National G u a r d B u r e a u; $697,100,000, of which not less than $8,50p,p00 shall be available only for the maintenance of real property facilities. For the necessary expenses, in accordance with law, for construction, equipment, and maintenance of rifle ranges; the instruction of citizens in m a r k s m a n s h i p; the promotion of rifle practice; and the travel of rifle teams, military personnel, and individuals attending regional, national, and international competitions; $233,000, of which amount not to exceed $7,500 shall be available for incidental expenses of the National B o a r d; and from other funds provided i n t h i s Act, not to exceed $280,000 worth of ammunition may be issued under authority of title 10, United States Code, section 4311.
