Veterans. Effective date. 38 USC 1901
To amend title 38 of the United States Code to provide an automobile assistance allowance and to provide automotive adaptive equipment to veterans of World Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) section 1901 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking out "on or after September 16, 1940" in clauses (A) and (B) of paragraph (1). (b) The amendment made by subsection (a) of this section shall become effective October 1, 1977.
