Public Law 95-132 95th Congress An Act To raise the limitation on appropriations for the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.^ That this Act may Civil Rights be cited as the "Civil Rights Commission Authorization Act of 1977". Commission SEC. 2. Section 106 of the Civil Rights Act of 1957 (42 U.S.C. ^ct J S T T 1975e), as amended is further amended to read as follows: ^2 USC 1975 "SEC. 106. For the purposes of carrying out this Act, there is hereby ^^^^ authorized to be appropriated for the fiscal year ending September 30, Appropriation 1978, the sum of $10,480,000 and such additional amounts as may be authorization, necessary for increases in salary, pay, retirement, and other employee benefits authorized by law which arise subsequent to the date of the enactment of the Civil Rights Commission Authorization Act of 1977.".
