Securities and Exchange Commission. Appropriation authorization.

rp^ amend the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to authorize appropriations for the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal year 1978.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 35 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78kk) is amended— ^ ^ jj^ ^he first sentence thereof, by striking out "and not to exceed" and inserting in lieu thereof a comma; (2) by inserting immediately before the period at the end of the first sentence thereof the following: ", and $63,750,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978"; and (3) in the last sentence thereof, by striking out "the 1977 fiscal year" and inserting in lieu thereof "fiscal year 1978". Approved December 19, 1977.
