RECLAMATION

(INCLUDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS)

For necessary expenses to carry out the provisions of Title IV of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, Public Law 95-87, $36,647,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That 30 USC 1231. $36,647,000 shall be transferred from unappropriated receipts of the Abandoned Mine Reclamation Fund into the General Fund of the Treasury prior to September 30, 1978. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS

Appropriations for the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement shall be available for the purchase of not to exceed 58 passenger motor vehicles: Provided, That none of the funds provided in this Act for the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement shall be available for the compensation of Executive Level IV or higher positions: Provided further, That section 201(b) 5 USC 5315. of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (91 Stat. 445) is amended to delete the roman numeral "IV" in the first 30 USC 1211. sentence and substitute the roman numeral "V" in lieu thereof.
