SEC. 18. Section 3(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 (15 U.S.C. 77c(b)) is amended by striking out "$500,000" and inserting in lieu thereof "$1,500,000". AMENDMENT TO THE SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934

SEC. 18. (a) Section 11(a)(3) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78k(a)(3)) is amended by striking out "May 1, 1975" and inserting in lieu thereof "February 1, 1978" and by striking out "May 1, 1978" each place it appears and inserting in lieu thereof "February 1, 1979". (b) The amendment made by subsection (a) of this section shall be effective as of May 1, 1978. Approved May 21, 1978.
