INFRASTRUCTURE

Various Locations: For the United States share of the cost of multilateral programs for the acquisition or construction of military facilities and installations (including international military headquarters) for the collective defense of the North Atlantic Treaty Area, $120,000,000. Within thirty days after the end of each ca,lendar-year quarter, the Secretary of Defense shall furnish to the Committees on Armed Services and on Appropriations of the Senate and House of Representatives a description of the obligations incurred by the United States for the United States share of the cost of such multilateral programs. EMERGENCY CONSTRUCTION

SEC 402. The Secretary of Defense may establish or develop installations and facilities which he determines to be vital to the security of the United States and, in connection therewith, may acquire, construct, convert, rehabilitate, or install permanent or temporary public works, including land acquisition, site preparation, appurtenances, utilities, and equipment, in the total amount of $10,000,000. The Secretary of Defense, or his designee, shall notify the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives, immediately upon reaching a final decision to implement, of the cost of construction of any public works undertaken under this section, including real estate actions pertaining thereto. MINOR CONSTRUCTION

SEC 403. The Secretary of Defense is authorized to accomplish minor construction projects under section 2674 of title 10, United States Code, in the amount of $13,044,000.
