To rename certain buildings of the Library of Congress.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the building in the block bounded by East Capitol Street, Second Street Southeast, Independence Avenue Southeast, and First Street Southeast, in the District of Columbia (commonly known as the Library of Congress Building or the Library of Congress Main Building), shall hereafter be known and designated as the "Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building". Any reference in any law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to such building shall be held to be a reference to the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building. SEC. 2. The building in the block bounded by East Capitol Street, Second Street Southeast, Third Street Southeast, and Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast, in the District of Columbia (commonly known as the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building or the Library of Congress Annex BuUding), shall hereafter be known and designated as the "Library of Congress John Adams Building". Any reference in any law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to such building shall be held to be a reference to the Library of Congress John Adams Building. SEC. 3. The Act entitled "An Act to name the building known as the Library of Congress Annex to be the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building", approved April 13, 1976 (90 Stat. 329), is hereby repealed. Approved June 13, 1980.
