That when the Senate recesses on Wednesday, July 2, 1980, it stand in recess until 11:00 o'clock a.m. on Monday, July 21, 1980, and that when the House adjourns on Wednesday, July 2, 1980, it stand adjourned until 12:00 o'clock noon on Monday, July 21, 1980. Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That notwithstanding the provisions of section 132(a) of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 198), as amended by section 461 of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970 (Public Law 91-510; 84 Stat. 1193), the Senate and the House of Representatives shall not adjourn for a period in excess of three days, nor adjourn sine die, until both Houses of Congress have adopted a concurrent resolution providing either for an adjournment (in excess of three days) to a day certain, or for adjournment sine die.
