Providing for convening of the first regular session of the Ninety-seventh Congress °" January 5, 1981, and for other purposes.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the first regular session of the Ninety-seventh Congress shall begin at 12 o'clock meridian on Monday, January 5, 1981. SEC. 2. That (a) notwithstanding the provisions of section 605(a) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 (31 U.S.C. 11(a)), the President shall submit to the Senate and the House of Representatives the estimates required to be submitted by said subsection for the fiscal year 1982 not later than the date on which the President transmits to the Congress the budget for the fiscal year 1982, and (h) notwithstanding the provisions of section 605(b) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974, the Joint Economic Committee shall submit to the Committees on the Budget of both Houses the evaluation required to be submitted by said subsection for the fiscal year 1982 not later than the date on which the report for the fiscal year 1982 pursuant to section 5(b)(3) of the Employment Act of 1946 (15 U.S.C. 1024b) is filed with the Senate and House of Representatives.
