For an additional amount for "Pa3mients for directed rail service", $8,000,000, to remain available until expended. Section 120 of the Rock Island Railroad Transition and Employee Assistance Act is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking out "the Rock Island Railroad" the first place it appears and inserting in lieu thereof "any railroad subject to section 77 of the Bankruptcy Act, or subchapter IV of chapter 11 of title 11, United States Code, which has ceased to provide passenger commuter service over any line of the railroad"; (B) by striking out "2-year" and inserting in lieu thereof "3-year"; and (C) by striking out "Rock Island Railroad" each place it appears (other than the first time it appears) and inserting in lieu thereof "railroad"; and (2) in subsection (b), by striking out "the Rock Island Railroad" and inserting in lieu thereof "emy reiilroad".
