PUBLIC LAW 97-468—JAN. 14, 1983 RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLIANCE

SEC. 706. Section 209(a) of the Federal Railroad Safety Act of 1970 (45 U.S.C. 438(a)) is amended to read as follows: "(a) It shall be unlawful for any railroad to fail to comply with any rule, regulation, order, or standard prescribed by the Secretary under this title.". Approved January 14, 1983.
