97 STAT. 922 PUBLIC LAW 98-146—NOV. 4, 1983 FISH AND WILDLIFE AND PARKS UNITED STATES FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT For expenses necessary for scientific and economic studies, conser- vation, management, investigations, protection, and utilization of sport fishery and wildlife resources, except whales, seals, and sea lions, and for the performance of other authorized functions related to such resources; for the general administration of the Fish and Wildlife Service; for maintenance of the herd of long-horned cattle on the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, and not less than $3,400,000 for high priority projects within the scope of the approved budget which shall be carried out by Youth Conservation Corps as if authorized by the Act of August 13, 1970, as amended by Public Law 16 USC 93-408, $270,803,000 of which $2,000,000, to carry out the purposes of 1701-1706. 16 U.S.C. 1535, shall remain available until expended; and of which $3,729,000 shall be for operation and maintenance of fishery mitiga- tion facilities constructed by the Corps of Engineers under the Lower Snake River Compensation Plan, authorized by the Water 90 Stat. 2917. Resources Development Act of 1976 (90 Stat. 2921), to compensate for loss of fishery resources from water development projects on the Lower Snake River, which will remain available until expended: Provided, That the only critical habitat to be designated under section 4(b)(2) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (Public Law 16 USC 1533. 93 -205), as amended, for the Northern Rocky Mountain Wolf in Idaho shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the Central Idaho 94 Stat. 948. Wilderness Areas, as established by Public Law 96-312. CONSTRUCTION AND ANADROMOUS FISH For construction and acquisition of buildings and other facilities required in the conservation, management, investigations, protec- tion, and utilization of sport fishery and wildlife resources, and the acquisition of lands and interests therein; $4,000,000, to remain available until expended, for expenses necessary to carry out the 16 USC Anadromous Fish Conservation Act (16 U.S.C. 757a-757f), of which 757a-757g. $500,000 shall be made available to the State of Idaho without regard to the limitation as stated in 16 U.S.C. 757e and without regard to the Federal cost sharing provisions in 16 U.S.C. 757a-757f: Provided, That 16 U.S.C. 757e is amended by adding the following new sentence: "The State of Idaho shall be eligible on an equal standing with other States for Federal funding for purposes author- 16 USC ized by sections 757a to 757f of this title."; and an additional 757a-757f. $23,301,000, to remain available until expended.
