Public Law 99-236 99th Congress An Act To designate the General Services Administration building known as the "United States Appraiser's Stores Building" in Boston, Massachusetts as the "Captain John Foster Williams Coast Guard Building".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the General Public buildings Services Administration building known as the "United States and grounds. Appraiser's Stores Building", located at 450 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, shall hereafter be known and designated as the "Captain John Foster Williams Coast Guard Building", in recognition of Captain John Foster Williams' contributions to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts during the Revolutionary War. Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to such building shall be deemed to be a reference to the "Captain John Foster Williams Coast Guard Building". Approved January 9, 1986.
